Our History

Founded in 1961, C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc. has proudly been a member of the Springfield/Clark County Community providing premier General Construction, New Construction, Renovation, Restoration, Green Construction, Additions, Commercial Construction, Project Management and Construction Management services for the Southwestern Ohio and Central Ohio regions as well as Indiana and Kentucky.  

Since our inception, we have successfully performed construction projects of all types on Government Facilities, Hospitals and Health Care Facilities, Universities, Primary and Secondary Education Buildings, Data Centers, Manufacturing and Industrial Plants, Commercial Office and Retail Centers.   

Human Resources

C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc. employs a full compliment of supervisors, carpenter, masons, equipment operators and skilled laborers.  In addition, the company utilizes a network of over 100 skilled subcontractors.  Our subcontractor network maintains a high level of performance as we continually evaluate their performance on each individual project.  The relationships that we have developed with these subcontractors have allowed C & N Industrial Contractor, Inc. to ensure our quality workmanship meets or exceeds clients' expectations.  

Bonding, Insurance, Finance

C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc. maintains all necessary liability coverage needed on projects.  We also require all subcontractors to meet these standard prior to utilizing their services on ant project.

Our Ohio based Bonding Company, Inc. is rates by Standard & Poor's as AA-(Very Strong).  Regular reviews throughout the year of C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc.'s financials are preformed by our bonding company to warrant our solid financial health.

C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc. also maintains a banking relationship with Huntington National Bank for our corporate operational needs such as checking, savings, equipment and vehicle financing and working capital lines.

C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc. is a privately held corporation.  Financial Statements are not available for public disclosure; however, comfort letters are obtained from our Certified Public Accountant for clients on our financial data compared to industry metrics.  

C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc. has experienced steady, planned, controlled growth over the past 5 years.  Since 2003, our sales volume for completed construction has grown by 125%, or a 25% annual increase.

Safety

Safety is apriority for all associates at C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc. We maintain Workers Compensation Coverage through Ohio's BWC.  We are very proud in boasting our Experience Merit rate with BWC for 2007 was.91, and that a rating less than 1.0 has been maintained since 2001.

C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc. is a proud member of the Clark County Safety Council.  In addition, we have in place an internal continuing education (CEU) program in which all associates are required to participate.  The educational  opportunities provided in this company developed program include OSHA training, recurring safety classes, training on new technology in the industry, and a variety of other topics.

All work that has been awarded to C & N Industrial Contractors, Inc.  has been completed.  We have never defaulted on a contract and have never been assessed liquidated damages.
